Disinformation and Hellenism

Web performance documented on two A0 posters and an essay
Disinformation and Hellenism is a web performance and research project concerned with disinformation on social media, specifically with the political use of Facebook by the Hellenic far-right. It studies the spread of disinformation and Facebook’s aim to moderate the hate speech and fake news on its platform. The research took place for a limited amount of time and on a small scale, however it aims to allow further discussion on how disinformation can have an impact on society in Cyprus – which at 94% has the highest percentage of daily Facebook users in the EU.
